Bookings

• Akeld Manor is open all year.
• All properties have been graded as 4 Star.
• Short breaks for a minimum of three nights are available all year, subject to availability. Many guests opt to pay for three night weekend breaks even if only staying for two nights. Our four night midweek breaks offer great value.
• Our prices are all inclusive; there are no hidden extras.
• All lets run from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival until 10.00 am on the day of departure. Change-over days for weekly lets are either Friday or Saturday depending on the property selected. Catkin Cottage, Hollyhock Cottage, Ivy Cottage, Old Smithy, Pansy Plot and The Manor House, all at Akeld Manor, have Friday change-overs. All other properties have Saturday change-overs. Sometimes, if availability allows, we may accommodate other change-over days, particularly in relation to short breaks.
• Payment is required when you make a booking, as follows:
  • If the booking is made more than two months before the date of arrival, you will pay a deposit of 20% of the rental at the time of booking with payment of the balance due two months before the date of arrival.
  • If the booking is made less than two months but more than two weeks before the date of arrival, you will pay a deposit of 50% of the rental at the time of booking with payment of the balance due two weeks before the date of arrival.
  • If the booking is made two weeks or less before the date of arrival, you will pay the full amount immediately.
• If you cancel your booking, you will remain liable to pay the full cost of your holiday with us unless we can re-let the property. All deposits are non returnable. Accordingly, you are advised to have appropriate holiday cancellation insurance.
• A daily cleaning service can be provided at extra cost.
• We supply all bed linen and tea towels, but please bring your own personal towels.
• Cots and high chairs are available on request, but please bring your own cot linen.
• For the comfort of all of our guests, we operate a no smoking policy, which extends to the whole site, including all public areas, all cottages and everywhere within the grounds.
